  1. A Team made in La Masia

Tito Vilanova could field a Starting IX composed solely of former Barça B alumni

As you have probably noticed, the point of this diagram is to show that Barca could field a starting eleven that only consists of La Masia (the youth academy of Barcelona) grads.

That’s very impressive to say the least, but we can’t ignore the fact that this team doesn’t have the talent to win the Champions League or even La Liga. This is exactly why part of the Barca theory is to buy players in the positions where their youth squad lacks quality.

  2. Barca Youth: Isaac Cuenca

If FC Barcelona is known for one thing it would be for their excellent youth system. As we all know, La Masia training camp is one of the most successful youth academies in the world. It trained the likes of Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez, Pedro Rodriguez, and Carles Puyol. In 2010, all three of the Ballon d’Or finalists were La Masia products (Iniesta, Xavi and Messi) . It’s insane if you think about it, all those names speak for themselves. What more could you ask for?
