One of the more intriguing questions going into this Premier League season was how Manchester United would cope with the managerial change that saw David Moyes replace the venerable Sir Alex Ferguson.

When it was announced that Moyes would be the new manager, opinion amongst United fans was divided. Some believed that Moyes was the perfect choice as replacement after he had completely transformed Everton from a team that perennially struggled in the lower-mid reaches of the Premier League, to a team that consistently challenged for European places. Moyes also had built a reputation for being savvy in the transfer market and enjoyed a close relationship with Ferguson while at Everton.

The Under 20 World Cup gets underway in Turkey on Friday.  Here are the best players worth keeping an eye out for:

    Nico Lopez – Uruguay

The Roma starlet burst on to the scene in Serie A, earning the Giallorossi a last minute 2-2 draw at home to Catania on the opening match of last season with a stunning goal (shown below).  Nico struggled for playing time throughout the rest of the campaign but that didn’t stop him terrorizing defences in the Copa Sudamericano with Uruguay U20s, finishing the tournament as top goalscorer amongst some sterling names.  He is a nimble, tricky customer with a left foot that will punish you if given a yard.

Manchester United cantered to their 20th league title on Monday night, ending the foregone conclusion the title race had become towards the final third of the season.  The emphatic gap between United and City stands as a testament to the frightening consistency Ferguson’s side displayed this season.  This in itself is an ode to the seemingly unending ability Sir Alex has of breeding winning teams time and time again.  When you compare the two squads of the Manchester teams, there is no obvious difference in quality between the two.  The difference lies only in the managers.
