Here is a rundown of the rumoured biggest transfers of the upcoming transfer window:

    Radamel Falcao to Monaco

Monaco, managed currently by Claudio Ranieri, made headlines last summer with the signing of highly rated River Plate youngster Lucas Ocampos for 16 million.  The Russian billionaire in charge of AS Monaco, Dmitry Rybolovlev, is determined to once again help the club scale the heights of French football and he sees the signing Falcao as a major stepping stone in this development that will serve to attract other stars to the club.  It is said if the move happens Falcao will double his wage and there may even be a clause inserted into the contract which could allow him to leave the club after a season as Monaco are currently in a dispute with the rest of French football concerning their laxed tax laws – something the other clubs feel gives them an unfair advantage.  The speculated price of the transfer is rumoured to be around €60m.

With big money transfers such as Eden Hazard to Chelsea and Robin Van Persie to Manchester United, you could be forgiven for not noticing certain players turning out for other teams in the coming weeks. There have been some notable loan signings during the transfer window, with some teams lending their young talent out to gain exposure to first team football, while others have strengthened through loans because of low funding. Here,we will take a look at some of the notable loan signings this summer.

    Nuri Sahin

Here is a small piece on South American football players who will be gracing a league near you this season (that’s if you’re in Europe):

    Dorlan Pabon to Parma

The Atletico Nacional forward set the group stages of the Copa Libertadores alight, tearing ahead of Neymar, Damiao and co as the tournaments early leading goalscorer. He is the owner of a thunderous right foot and isn’t shy to use it. His tendency to shoot when given any opportunity does tend to draw some complaints from team-mates but this guy will give us a few jaw dropping moments in Serie A this season.

The transfer window has closed and in the last day or two of the window, almost every Premier League club was involved in the madness, whether it was buying or selling.  It’s hardly surprising that big spending Manchester City stole the headlines, making five signings.

  5. EPL Transfer Update – August 28th

Here are a few more of the recent additions to this season’s Premier League:

    Joe Allen to Liverpool

    Joe Allen Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers’ pursuit to bring Allen to Liverpool finally ended with Swansea receiving a £15m fee for the deep-lying playmaker. Allen’s rise has been meteoric. This time last year he was lingering in near obscurity to most football fans but impressive performances dictating the passing tempo at the heart of the Swansea midfield has earned him a plethora of admirers. You would be hard pushed to find any player more reliable on the ball in the EPL than Allen.

    Bundesliga Transfers

It’s now late July and the club teams which make up the Bundesliga only have one more month to sign, trade, and transfer new players for the 50th campaign of the season. Overshadowed by the EPL and La Liga transfers, the Bundesliga has already made exciting and intriguing signings that have gone under the radar in the soccer world. In no specific order, here are some of my favorites:

Luuk De Jong to Borussia Monchengladbach

    Luuk de Jong Borussia
