The much-anticipated gameweek 37 was a washout for many FPL bosses. Unfortunately, our ones to watch struggled to pick up the expected points haul. However, here are our gameweek 38 ones to watch:
Sergio Romero (Manchester United, £4.7million)
This is a bit of a punt, but the Argentinian second choice goalkeeper could be a bargain enabler for gameweek 38. He has yet to play a minute of top-flight football this season for United.
However, Jose Mourinho has revealed that due to first-choice David De Gea already clinching the Golden Gloves award for this season, the Spaniard will be rested this weekend when Watford head to Old Trafford on Sunday.
The Hornets have lost ten of their last 11 away games while scoring just twice in the process of doing so.
Patrick van Aanholt (Crystal Palace, £5.2million)
The Dutchman has always been a goalscoring threat from his full-back position. During his Sunderland days, he would regularly get on the scoresheet. The former Chelsea star has been playing as a wing-back in recent weeks.
The move has seen Van Aanholt score in his last two outings for the Eagles. His price of £5.2million with a home game against already relegated West Brom on the last day of the season makes him a very attractive FPL option.
Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace, £7million)
Another Eagles player who looks like a good buy for the last gameweek of season 2017/18 is Zaha. The Ivory Coast international has been playing as a central striker in recent weeks, which has no doubt contributed to his tally of four goals and four assists in his last eight gameweeks.
At £7million with such a supposedly attractive fixture, Zaha looks like the sort of player that every FPL boss should be signing. In fact, he is the most signed player of gameweek 38 so far.
Who will be the ones to watch in gameweek 38 of FPL?
