Premier League Fantasy Football ones to watch gameweek 21

Well after a short break for the festive period, our ones to watch are back for Gameweek 21 of FPL. Gameweek 19 proved pretty fruitful for our picks. Here are the ones to watch for the upcoming fixtures:

Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea, £6.9m)

The Chelsea mainstay is often overshadowed by teammate Marcos Alonso in the FPL popularity stakes. However, the Spanish defender has now contributed six assists this season. All six assists have been for striker Alvaro Morata.

Azpilicueta is part of a Chelsea team that produces a lot of clean sheets, picking up four clean sheets in five top-flight outings at Stamford Bridge. The visit of Stoke to the Bridge this weekend looks like a good opportunity to improve that record.

One other major plus for the defender is the fact that he is the highest defender when it comes to collecting bonus points, scoring an impressive 15 this season, mostly for his clever defensive play.

Jesse Lingard (Manchester United, £6.1m)

The England international has not always been a starter for the Red Devils in recent seasons. However, his form in recent weeks has been impressive.

The winger came off the bench for the Red Devils to score a brace in United’s 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

The double means a tally of three goals and one assist from his last two and a half appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team. A home game against struggling Southampton could prove a profitable one for United and the winger.

Richarlison (Watford, £6.5)

The Brazilian’s form has not been great in recent weeks after a blistering start to his Hornets career. In fact, the youngster has now produced just three assists in his last eight top-flight appearances.

However, an assist in his last outing and a home game with bottom club Swansea means the winger may just be set to return to form.

Who will be the star of Gameweek 21 in FPL?
