We are back with our FPL ones to watch. I have to apologise to you lot for gameweek 25, as our picks completely flopped. To be fair, though, it was a fairly low scoring week for many people. However, gameweek 26’s picks should give you a better points tally. Here they are:
Callum Wilson (Bournemouth, £5.9m)
The Cherries striker has hit form and at the moment looks to be one of the best value forwards in the game. Wilson has now scored three times and produced two assists in his last four Premier League appearances.
The 25-year-old played a key role in Eddie Howe’s side beating Chelsea 3-0 last time out. A home fixture with Stoke this weekend looks to offer the striker a chance to add to his recent points haul.
Harry Maguire (Leicester, £5.5m)
The England international has offered a double threat in FPL, as he is that beautiful creature a defender who offers a significant attacking threat too. This season the centre-back has scored twice and produced four assists. On set pieces, he offers a major threat to opposing defences.
The Foxes have kept clean sheets in three of their last four league games. They also come up against a Swansea side with the lowest scoring tally in the league this weekend. One note of caution when it comes to Maguire’s inclusion is that the Swans form has improved of late, so they may not be easy opposition.
Mamadou Sakho (Crystal Palace, £4.7m)
The French international defender has recently returned from injury and could be a good cut-price defensive option. Sakho has been sorely missed by the Eagles backline and the former Liverpool defender should return to the starting line-up this weekend against Newcastle.
Sakho picked up ten bonus points last season and was influential in the Londoner’s revival under Roy Hodgson earlier in the season.
Who will be the ones to watch in gameweek 26 of FPL?
