Our Gameweek 27 ones to watch once again produced mixed results. Hopefully, this weeks will yield better results for you FPL players out there. Here are our picks for gameweek 28:
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, £5.5M)
The Dutchman looks like a no-brainer selection at the minute. The Reds have kept clean sheets in their last two outings in all competitions, while also keeping two clean sheets from their last three top-flight outings.
Van Dijk also offers attacking points, as he looks to be a threat at every set-piece for Jurgen Klopp’s side. The defender picked up a bonus point last time out and with favourable fixtures, including West Ham at home this weekend, the centre-back looks like a must-have fantasy asset.
Abdoulaye Doucoure (Watford, £5.4M)
The Watford midfielder is enjoying a very productive second campaign at Vicarage Road after an underwhelming debut campaign in Hertfordshire. The French star has now scored seven times and created three goals for his teammates.
The 25-year-old looks like a very budget-friendly and effective asset to have in the next few gameweeks. Not only does he face travel-sick Everton this weekend, but he will also play in gameweek 31 when many teams will not feature.
Jamie Vardy (Leicester, £8.6m)
The England international has quietly hit form of late, scoring in each of the last four gameweeks. Despite the Foxes enjoying an inconsistent campaign, the former Fleetwood star has still scored a respectable 13 Premier League goals this season, while also collecting two assists.
The Foxes host inconsistent Stoke City at the King Power Stadium this weekend before hosting Bournemouth and then visiting West Brom. He may not have a game in gameweek 31, but at the moment Jamie Vardy looks like he could prove to be a very handy differential over the next few gameweeks.
Who will be the ones to watch in gameweek 28 of FPL?
