Gameweek 28 of FPL was not very fruitful for our ones to watch. Hopefully, our gameweek 29 picks will yield a better return in FPL: Here are our ones to watch for the latest FPL gameweek:
Ben Davies (Tottenham, £5.8m)
The Welsh international is establishing himself a fine reputation as one of the best attacking full-backs or wing-backs in the Premier League. An injury to Danny Rose allowed the former Swansea star to nail down a regular starting spot. Even with Rose fit, Davies seems to be the first choice of boss Mauricio Pochettino in the role.
Davis has produced 15 clean sheets this season, while also scoring two goals and six assists in the Premier League. A home game against relegation-threatened Huddersfield this weekend offers an opportunity to add more points at both ends of the pitch.
Andrew Robertson (Liverpool, £4.8m)
Another attacking full-back that offers is Liverpool’s Scottish international, who has now become a mainstay in the Reds defence of late. Last time out the former Hull defender picked up an assist in his last top-flight appearance.
Jurgen Klopp’s side host struggling Newcastle at Anfield on Saturday evening and his price tag of £4.8m is in the budget category. With a relatively favourable run-in and also the advantage of a game in the much talk about gameweek 31, Robertson looks like a very good FPL option.
Marko Arnautovic (West Ham, £6.9m)
Arnautovic is now playing as a central striker, a role the Austrian has thrived in since boss David Moyes switched him from his usual wide berth against Chelsea. The Austrian is just getting back into his stride after injury. However, he looked sharp against Liverpool last time out.
At £6.9m with a game at fellow strugglers Swansea this weekend, the forward could just be a very handy differential.
Who will the ones to watch in gameweek 29 of FPL?
